MARCHING WITH BILLIONS

MARCHING with Billions - Terry Fenwick

Marcus GRODI gave a wonderful example when he spoke about the football game and the fans in the bleachers.  I think anyone who heard him,  and had ever been to a football game, would relate. Marcus played football and LOVES the game, but he said with the "fans" in the bleachers, cheering you on - well, that is what makes the game great!

Marcus was relating this to the Christians being the players on the field (of life) and the stands being filled with the Angels and Saints, and those who have gone on before us, cheering us on, praying for us, as we lived out the game. The Angels and Saints were ALL on our side!  ALL the Cheers and Prayers were FOR us and none were against us.

What then shall we say to this? If God is for us, who is against us? Romans 8:31

I thought of that at the March for Life  - thousands were there, x2 because each person there had his or her Guardian Angel, plus all of us at home, and remember, we too, each have our own Guardian Angel.  We were glued to the TV, tears in our eyes, praising and praying.  BUT WAIT, then the bleachers in the Heavens with ALL the Angels and the Saints cheering and praying, along with the LORD with Our Blessed Mother - well the March was an event of BILLIONS!

Think of that!  For those who went and froze for us, I thank them.  I thank EWTN for making it possible for us to be there, too, and see and share in the testimonies.

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us.

What a wonderful insight, that we are each two. I think many of us forget this.
