Christmas

I stand in wonder before a mystery;
God, who created all the universe,
dwells among humans as a human.

I bow before the living Tabernacle
of the Blessed Virgin Mary
from whom You drew each
part of Your body.

I kneel before a newborn Babe:
Almighty God now clothed in
human weakness.

Word-Made-Flesh, Lord Jesus Christ,
free me from every sin and evil
that I may also have the strength
to become truly human, like You.

Glory to God in the lowliest
Babe of Bethlehem.
Behold, a Child lifts up
the entire human race.

Amen.
